All Alden Hills meat is raised without using antibiotics or hormones. While it takes longer for our animals to reach their full weight, we will not use antibiotics or hormones to speed up this process. We want to deliver the cleanest, purest meat to your door.

Grass fed meat is also higher in healthy fats that are beneficial to our bodies. Meat that has been grass fed has been shown to contain double if not more than double Omega-3 fatty acids when compared to grain fed meat. Your heart health will benefit from the increase in Omega-3 fatty acids in our grass fed meat.

Grass fed meat contains more vitamins and minerals when compared to grain fed meat. The varied diet of grass fed animals means there are higher levels of vitamins like vitamin B and vitamin D as well as iron.

There are environmental benefits in addition to all the health benefits that choosing grass fed provides. As our cows graze, they are fertilizing and maintaining our pastures naturally. They are increasing the biodiversity of our land constantly.
